After more than a decade of performing solo, I now have a rhythm section for live performances: drummer Alan Lauer & bassist Stephen Pierce, better known as two-thirds of local power-pop wizards the Zest of Yore. We made our debut with three shows @ this year's South by Southwest. The experience was nerve-wracking yet fun, and we made a lot of people happy!

Right now, we have two more shows booked: one @ the Mohawk on Sunday, May 6th; and another @ Skinny's Ballroom on Sunday, June 24th. I plan to play as many local and regional shows with the full band as I can, and to incorporate them heavily into my next batch of recordings.

I'm also looking for guitarists, keyboardists and vocalists to join us for future performances. If you're fun-loving, reliable (we practice twice a week) and skilled, you'll enjoy being in my band: I'm not a difficult leader @ all. Please e-mail me if you're interested!
